Not_a_Number Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 (edited) First, I started a Zoom math class with DD8's friends back in September. Then, DD8 asked for another class, and I found another teacher to run a fun "games and poetry" Zoom class in January. Then, DD8 started a "secret club" that met after the math class. And then they picked another day for a meeting on the weekend... so now we have a nice, tight-knit little community composed of DD8's pre-pandemic friends that meets 3 times a week 😂. I need to start a real co-op after the pandemic, don't I? This has been fun and easy and much less annoying than dealing with people at our local homeschooling center. And I'm good at running my class, picking the kids, finding other teachers, and otherwise organizing stuff. Edited March 29, 2021 by Not_a_Number 14 Quote
kokotg Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 It sounds great--definitely hang on to that post-pandemic! 1 Quote

So we probably can't exactly keep it. But this is definitely giving me ideas for how to run things in the next few years. 1 Quote
