MomN
I'm seeing many different Killgallon books for elementary and was wondering which ones are the best. I see: -Story Grammar for Elementary School -Getting Starting with Elementary School Sentence Composing -Sentence Composing for Elementary School -Paragraphs for Elementary School Where do you start? Are they all good or are some better than others? What is the strength of this curriculum? Do you use them as a supplement or as a complete curriculum? Thanks! domestic_engineer
This is one of my favorite Killgallon threads; I think it'll answer some of your questions. There was a recent thread, too, where someone asked about using it as a main curriculum or supplement, and most people responding said "supplement."

stripe
I felt “paragraphs” incorporated a LOT of sentence composing. By the way Heinemann’s website includes a free downloadable teacher’s guide for each Killgallon book. https://www.heinemann.com/authors/837.aspx

Not every single book has one, but most do. Here’s a screenshot from Nonfiction for Elementary School.

I'll look at the other book I have.
