Good morning!

I don't know what is happening when today. Our laptop charger started buzzing and smoking last night. Thankfully, it was while I had it at the table and not in ds' room while asleep or anything! I know the battery won't last long enough to do all my Zoom classes, and I never heard Friday from Enterprise about a rental car, so I am calling this morning about that.   Dh is off and the usuals are done.

  • meals
  • Teach my classes on Zoom if I can (we do have an extra battery, not sure how charged it is)
  • call Enterprise and/or insurance company
  • call computer store about a charger
  • tutor chemistry student in person tonight
  • laundry

Gosh, all those issues, Amy=== I hope your extra battery has enough power and that you also get the car rental from Enterprise very soon.

As for me,  my day consists of getting ready for Covid shot and getting dh to help me get it (drive, help me manoever it. etc.  I want him there is I need a Avi-Q. injection because of an allergic reaction, or if I get faint (I have been getting that almost fainting feeling when I get up the last few days).

Maybe going to get a new eyeglasses ordered.

HOme health nurse is coming today too.

Oh Amy! I’m glad it wasn’t in DS’ room either! Christina, how are you feeling?

Today:

Big plans! I called dibs on “walking” down our long driveway and getting the mail. Tee hee! 😊

1. Help DS make a parachute for a rocket launch for Trail Life.
2. Pick up joggers for the team that was made.
3. Gather materials for planting bulbs and making fire starters at AHG tonight.
4. Shower!

5. DD17 and DD 14 need to paint the wall we didn’t get done yesterday!

6. AHG tonight & drop DD14 off for rehearsal! State competition (mock trial) in 33 hours she tells me! 😉

Howdy, happy Monday!

This GSD puppy mom life is something else.  It's a good thing puppies are cute!  (My eldest is really being great about dog responsibilities, but she does have to do school also.)

Done:

  • Laundry and puppy work in the wee hours.
  • Slept about 4.5 hours?
  • Kids & dogs up, their morning stuff done.
  • Drove kids to school.  First day of "5 day in person" school, which means a lot of changes - hopefully all good ....
  • A tiny bit of housework.
  • Caught up on calendar, emails, social media, news, and checked the kids' grades.
  • TKD form practice.
  • Walked the puppy around the yard boundaries 2 or 3 times.

To do:

  • "Yoga etc."
  • Call the vet and get on the schedule for first visit / 2nd set of shots.
  • Lots of client work.
  • Keep up with puppy.
  • Pick up the kids after band practice; drive their friend home.
  • Amazon returns.
  • Make the kids attend to their responsibilities (homework, dog, picking up after themselves).
  • TKD class.
  • Probably 2 loads of laundry.
  • Would like to get caught up on online church ....
  • Whatever else gets done.

Good afternoon!

I'm on hold with Enterprise as we speak. I'm trying to find out if they have a car or not. They told me this morning that they would have a car for me. I asked a neighbor to drive me up there. Well, they had sent the cars out for oil changes. Why didn't they tell me then? I felt so bad that my neighbor took time out to do that! She did take me by to get another power cord. So I really appreciated that.

I ended up not teaching two of the classes today, but I did get to teach the other two. For those two I didn't teach, I found videos online for them to watch and get started on those lessons.

We don't live near a Hertz rental or we could try them. Another Enterprise is over 30 minutes away. I think our town needs another rental company.

We had to go to the other one 30 minutes away. The good thing is we tried a new restaurant on the way home that we've been wanting to try.

I'm washing ds' new clothes we bought this weekend that we hope to use for his senior pictures. I am hoping the weather will be okay. This photographer is a close friend's sister. She lives in Augusta and is coming in town to visit.

My dad fell again tonight. He is okay, which is what matters. He dropped his phone and bent over quickly to pick it up. He just wasn't thinking about getting dizzy. He did and fell. He hit the side of his face and his eye area was injured and the back of his hand. He doesn't seemed too upset. He was able to get himself up, though. We are going to bring up the life alert type thing again to him. I so want to move closer!

Dh has applied for 3 jobs in northwest GA. Two would be close enough for us to live in TN, which would be ideal. Please pray for us!
