Katy Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 I just said, “I want ten seconds of peace without anyone screaming at me or crying.” That’s right, I’ve become my mother. I never thought the day would come. 1 10 Quote
mommyoffive Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Ha Ha. Yep, I already have hit that. After a million questions on why I said something, "Because I said so and I am the mom" is something I say a lot now. 2 Quote

It was a science class, I think it was Zoology which was a fall, junior year course. It was a Friday. Teacher assigned 20 vocab words. Write definitions and a sentence, at about 15 minutes before class was over. Everyone starts whining and moaning and complaining about having homework over the weekend. I was copying definitions as fast as I could. Finally, at about halfway through, I got fed up. I looked at the person sitting across from me, and said.... "If you would just shut up and get to work, you could be almost done by now." And then I put my head down as I realized what I had said. Yes, we are all destined to become our mothers. See I thought I was safe because... I was trying so hard to NOT marry someone like my father that I accidentally married someone exactly like my mother. 🤣 Edited March 12, 2021 by Katy 1 Quote
