Personally, I’m terrified of the “back seat” seatbelts in RVs.

Most of the time it would be me alone or me and a friend....so just 2 of us.

We’ve had a Winnebago Travato Class B and really loved it. Easy to drive, easy to stealth camp, fully contained (onboard generator and a solar panel on top). We averaged right at 20 mpg.

Cons—Can get a little claustrophobic during bad weather. You have to be really minimalistic and creative with packing for longer trips (our longest in the B was four weeks). Almost all of them have wet baths. so you have to learn to deal with that or use campground showers. And of course limited hot water due to tank size. Ours reheated super fast. We did prefer to use our own shower, and once we figured out a routine the wet bath and hot water weren’t problems at all.

Like @Thatboyofminesaid, RVs of any type can be a headache. There are so many systems and so many things that can go wrong. But we aren’t particularly handy and we managed to do it for 13 years with two different RVs without any huge hassles. You have to keep a sense of humor about the things that can and do go wrong. We have lots of great memories that are priceless.
