Chris in VA
We are using Home Science Adventures Microscope Kit. It comes with a little Tasco Microscope, and boy, is it fun to use! I blogged about it and posted two photos of what you actually see when you look thru the eyepiece (it's all one piece) at salt and sugar. Come visit! 5wolfcubs
Did you just set the camera on the eye piece? We have a very nice microscope but aren't studying anything we can use it for right now. Very nice doesn't mean you can see atoms and molecules! :D
Chris in VA
I have a very basic Kodak digital camera. I literally looked at the large screen on the back as I positioned the lens over the "looky hole" in the microscope. The Tasco is only 22x, but you can see enough details to make it interesting for dd7. I also had the camera set on the close-up setting, which is what you use for taking photos less than 12 inches away. It doesn't flash then.
