1000 hour challenge Feb. check in

Here is what we have so far

Dec - 2 hours (2 days)

Jan. - 30 hours

Feb. - 27 hours

Total - 59 hours

I had a goal of a total of 1 hour each day. We were just 2 hours short. Anyway, never as long as I have lived have I ever spent 59 hours outside during winter so it's a win. Next month I have a goal of 2 hours per day!

I am doing pretty good   I have 113 hours outside and 183 miles outside for the year so far.....Jan and Feb

A few friends and I decided that we weren't going to let the weather stop us.   Today was 40 with some slight drizzle.   The other night we walked the pier in -7°F.  Hopefully warmer weather is coming soon.

I might be doing better, but the 2 year old is very stubborn about staying outside a long time in winter. Sigh.

I've had a slow but steady start, about 47 hours. It was nice yesterday though, and I got about 3 1/2 hours in. I'm spending much more time outdoors in bad weather than I used to, so that's a win, and I know my hours will pick up dramatically once it warms up a bit. Still motivated, and glad I decided to do this.

I struggle getting my young adult kids outside   I just count my time.....but I can leave mine home alone.
