TheAttachedMama 1,353
Hello, I am looking for a recommendation for high school French. This particular child is not especially self-motivated, and I do not think she would do well in a self-study program. She needs outside accountability. She has taken two years of Latin in middle school, but would like to swtich to French in high school. So far I have looked at the classes on AIM Academy, TWTM, and TPS. I am also looking at maybe weekly conversation practice through iTalki or something? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! Cathy

fourisenough 2,654
My 11-year old is taking Lisa Reissig’s elementary French class this semester. We like her a lot! She’s warm and creates a fun, safe learning environment. It’s hard to compare elementary vs. high school classes, but we will move on to her middle school French class next year. My niece has taken classes with Sally Barstow at AIM Academy for a few years and LOVES her. Edited February 27 by fourisenough
Farrar 65,790
I've heard good things about Aim's teachers. You could also look at Global Goose.

teachermom2834 9,115
No experience but my dd who will be in 8th grade is registered for French 1 with Sally Barstow in the Fall. I am excited she was able to get into the class and am happy to see the good reviews here.
