Where they helpful in helping with self regulation? were they more specific than an OT. was it useful and did you think it beneficial seeing one? I have only heard of them yesterday, when my NDIS support coordinator went on holiday and the fill in person rang me to see wat type of OT we were trying to find, then said what I really need is an Advanced Behavioral Support Therapist , not an OT to help with self-regulation. Is it possible they said "Applied" and not "Advanced"? If not, then it's not a term we use here in the US. I wonder what it's equivalent to.
