New album about growing up Christian and LGBT

Incredibly powerful, and "Youth Group" is hilarious.  The album is Preacher's Kid by Semler.

I found it funny in the sense that it was so close to the experiences I had.

The songwriter is still very much Christian.  I read a few interviews with them.  And she talks about the juxtaposition of her faith with being socially/ politically rejected by larger "church culture."  It has a bunch of f-words, but yeah, it's still Christian music.
