Jenny in Florida Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 (edited) Not my best morning. Our daughter needs a break from her environment and living situation and is arriving today for an extended visit. I love her dearly, but the prospect of a long stay offers the strong potential for a mixed blessing. So, I'm feeling anxious and didn't sleep even as well as I usually do. I am also extremely sore and stiff because of the work we've been doing getting the house ready for her an also slowly ramping up packing for the move we hope to be making soon. Consequently, it took me a while to get out of bed, and I'm feeling draggy plus dealing with less time than I normally have to exercise because I had to do some last-minute cleaning tasks before work. I did manage to walk about 3 miles, but that's it so far. No PT exercises, no cardio or arm work. It's possible I will get to some of that later, but once my daughter arrives this afternoon, all bets are off (especially since I'm giving her my office/craft room/exercise space as a guest room). itsheresomewhere Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 10 miles today along with the arm workout. Plus, shoveling some of the snow. 3 Quote
ktgrok Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Did a 45 minute or so DDPY live workout on facebook, 15 minute 1 Mile Walk at Home video, and 30 minutes PT. 2 Quote
sbgrace Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 I did a boosted Walk at Home for cardio. About half way through, I started having perodic sharp pain in my lower back radiating down. Not sure what that was, but I decided to finish given it was so intermittent and no particular moves seemed to aggravate it. Afterward I did some PT exercises I was given for my lower back pain a long time ago. This pain felt a little different, but the exercises helped. So maybe it was that same old thing that pops up periodically. I then did pilates (back/core focus). I plan to do a relaxation focused movement tonight. 1 Quote
