Good Morning!

Today is my DH's bday, so dinner and all is planned 🙂 Still an otherwise normal day here, though, except I did let him pick video games this morning over our normal morning TV show.

So, my list:
....prep for the 4 yr old
....laundry
....school with DS

....tidy up the living room
....sew -- try to finish up some blocks to extend the Christmas tree skirt
....lunch -- leftovers
....dinner -- steak & yummy salad, chocolate/peanut butter cake for dessert
....call.the.life.insurance.guy.
....maybe get DH to go to Lowe's to look at the stuff for making my sewing machine extension table vs. buying one, so that I'm ready to order or not tomorrow when we go buy my new machine (squee!!!)
....remember to message/go see a neighbor who wants help making a curtain for her dd's playhouse
....anything else I'm forgetting

....after dinner -- probably Cobra Kai, which is proving to be not terrible after all....

Good morning! Sunny and cold here. Definitely a walk today.

I didn’t get the bathrooms cleaned yesterday, so I need to do that today.

Lesson prep and tutor one student virtually.

Continue to fine tune the settings on the parental control software on one laptop and possibly download it to another one.

Have kids call my mom.

Dinner is beef stroganoff over egg noodles, veggies, and salad. Putting the beef into the crock pot momentarily.

@DawnM Howcis your little guy doing?

Got the stuff printed for the 4 yr old, despite fighting with my printer/computer first (my printer changes ISP addresses all the time (IP address? whatever) and then my computer thinks it's talking to it, when it's not, and......ugh.)

Reader, happy birthday to your dh!

Scout, hope your day isn't hijacked too much!

Back from the doctor and the bank

We did some chemistry, which ds loathes.

Need to look over my tutoring for this afternoon

ate food

checked the homework pages for DS's outside classes, have today planned out (light day - he needs to study the Quizlet for a test, that's on his own)
I need to make flashcards for his other class

DH calling the life insurance; hard to reach the guy - ugh

DH said "yes, buy the extension table, I'll never get around to building it...." (which I kind of figured, but....) (he would have to borrow the proper tool for it, which complicates things)

I am so very tired despite doubling my steroid.  So far, I have sorted the laundry that needs to be done.  Now to decide which load to do first.

Also, I will not be going to the store, but dh is going to go.  That means I need to come up with a food list.

Also, I just figured out that I missed about four medical appointments.  I have been a nearly zombie.  I watched a show on Netflix yesterday and it really upset me,  It was a part of a tv series about criminals (fiction) and the premise of this episode was that there was this man who didn't work, his wife who had lupus, a regular daughter and an autistic daughter.  The regular daughter murdered the autistic daughter.  But the thing that just upset me was the description of the wife and how she just watched tv and slept.  I do a bit more when I am a zombie (complete drop in my cortisol level) since I read too but not much else.  I guess I need to schedule an appointment w my telehealth counselor too.

At least I did feed the birds and they are happy.

AHG thing almost done. Need to upload a document, send an email, and later today make a call.
Got incognito mode disabled on Ds' laptop. Took me three times through the directions to get it right.
Made breakfast food for lunch. B'fast was coffee.
Laundry is working and dishwasher is running.

Next up:
Keep working on AHG stuff and unjam the printer.

Had lunch, graded papers, took a nap

Messaged the neighbor about the curtain; we're set for Saturday

Before I could log off, another friend messaged me about a future quilt project, which took a sharp turn into a conversation about whether to marry or not her companion (this is the great-grandma to the 4 yr old, who is my good friend)....oye. That's a complicated mess.

Checked on my boys, all working diligently on school.

Printing/filing/filling my bag so that I don't have to do it Sat/Sun, since today is a low school day on my end.

How are you doing, Amy?  Are things going better?

Thanks for asking! I am better. I have some tremor at times and the muscle twitching is better. I think some of it, when it was the worst, may have been sleep deprivation and stress. Magnesium seems to help. I am calling tomorrow to get tested again for the RMSF. They wanted to wait a few weeks after stopping the antibiotic.  I am hoping to get good results!

Glad you are feeling better, Amy! Happy b-day to your Dh, Reader!

My list was a flop today, but all those undone things will still be there tomorrow. 😉

Did tutor and get my session logged.

Culled my inbox and checked to make sure Ds sent a scan of his completed project to a teacher.

Talked to mom for a bit. She is Ds so isolated in her place and has so little interaction with the world that she doesn’t have lots to talk about. 🙁 They take good care of her, but she has gone downhill quickly since she doesn’t have to think and work on things and do things. Some of her mental quickness seems to be fading.

Dinner was reasonably good and the kitchen is tidy. Laundry is running.

Tonight: reading, maybe a little tv.
