Happy Monday!

  • Spent the time from 4am to 7am hitting "snooze" and snoozing.
  • Coffee 1 is done - about to go get coffee 2.
  • Called the vet and canceled our bird's appointment.
  • Caught up on calendar, emails, news, and social media.

To do:

  • Lots of client work.
  • Make the kids do school and practice their instruments.
  • Pay bills?
  • Help kid2 with essay revision.
  • TKD class.
  • Walking.
  • Laundry?
  • Whatever else gets done.

SKL, I was awake a lot during that same time. I'm tired now.

Carolina Wren, hi! I followed the Bird of the Year thread, and the Carolina Wren is my bird of the year!

One math class down.

Ds' hybrid college class will be virtual until at least next week.

Good morning!

I have dropped the boy at school, moved the laundry, made lists for today and tomorrow, packed my lunch and had a second cup of coffee.

Enjoying a few minutes of quiet before I need to jump into the flurry of the rest of today.

  • lesson prep
  • tutor four students
  • order pants for Ds  Nope, amazon doesn't have the ones I want. He can make do for now.
  • Post Office for stamps ✔️
  • lots of AHG things
  • change Brita filter
  • text a friend about some sewing ✔️

Dinner is? I have lots of food, but meal planning didn’t happen so I need to figure it out.

hope everyone has a good day!

MooCow, I hope you feel better! I understand the missing your dd. Mine is a nurse living 3 hours away. She's been taking care of Covid patients since we last saw her at Thanksgiving. She got the second vaccine yesterday, though!

Just one math class left to go

breakfast and lunch are done

Two students done and one cancelled due to illness.

Hanging out on this side of town so I can pick up Ds in a bit.

MooCow and Amy, I am dreading this summer when my daughter will be gone, working at camp, for 4-5 weeks. The beginning of the end. Sigh.

typed out and printed dd's assignments for the week

scheduled orthodontist appt

paid bills

to do: coordinate with another daughter when she can meet someone at our condo to get measured for carpet install. Otherwise, I'll have to drive down there. Which I may do anyway because there is plenty of work that needs to be done to the place before we put it on the market.

to do: meal plan and thaw out some meat

vacuum (maybe)

exercise (maybe)

Not setting the bar high at all on this gloomy Monday. I might just sit on the computer and plan trips that I'll never go on. 😉

hi all!

today went well -- first day back to co-op since pre-Thanksgiving. 1st Grade science could have gone better, but that was my fault.

Came home, and DH and the boys had not only washed and dried the laundry, but also got everything onto hangers.

Oldest DS had his doctors appt, need to see if he got his refill or not

DH is going to do dinner -- some kind of chicken stirfry with leftover chicken

I am showered/changed after my day; need to write the parent emails and post the homework updates, and then I am DONE for the day

@ScoutTN I am so sorry! Not a good day. I have some ADHD books. What do you need to replace?

Try to open the books up and let them dry out. I've had similar disasters. Sometimes the books can be salvaged.

Let me elaborate since it was a pet incident. lol We have a cat that will express her displeasure by urinating in a variety of places. Once she let us know she was unhappy by urinating on a bin of home school textbooks. Tea is one thing. Cat urine is no joke lol. So I definitely had to toss some books. Fortunately, she's only targeted my home school stuff that one time. Otherwise she prefers to express her anger by peeing on clean clothes left in an open dryer. 😉 That I can fix lol.
