Tackling Wednesday Together

Good morning!

The usuals are done: saw dh off, fed Callie, bible study groups online, my breakfast

To Do:

• breakfast for ds, lunch, and dinner
• 4 math classes
• pray for peace in Washington and our state today
• church

My list today:
...decide to have the puppy overnight, or not
...set up the overnight with the puppy
...convince the family this is a good plan
...finish having coffee
...tutor online (working a 2nd grader thru subtracting w/borrowing/regrouping)(over zoom)
...get to week 25 on the 2nd grade prep, get to week 25 on the 1st grade prep
...lunch
...wrap 2 bday gifts, go (at least stop by, depending on the party set-up) to a class bday party for 2 of my 2nd graders
...pick up puppy on my way home???? (think I can have them convinced by then.....?)
...play with puppy
...OR
...come home, keep convincing
...get DH to hang stuff up, fix my design board, etc.
...dinner -- usually breakfast on Weds, check with DH if we are doing that or something else
...having DS stay home from church this week, to give one more week for NYE surge to work through (DH has coworkers that just tested positive; he's not been around them since before Christmas so he's good, but they are all reporting no fever, just congested, but then loss of smell.....the kind of thing people ignore for a few days before realizing, "Oh, it's Covid....")

Howdy, happy Wednesday!

Done:

• Took out the garbage.
• My kid's birthday cake & presents before school.
• Made the kids start school.
• A little bit of house cleaning.
• Caught up on calendar, emails, news, social media.

To do:

• Lots of client work (but I might sneak a nap first).
• Kid2 to horse riding.  (Should really pay the bill there ... we are way behind kuz I only pay like once a quarter.)
• Kid wants to order food in & watch a movie at home for her birthday.
• Whatever else gets done.

Found out last night that my mom has a terminal lung disease. 😢 She is 84. She is not a Christian. For those who pray, will you please pray for her salvation?

Done: coffee, b’fast, boy to school, Dd started on school.

 

To do:

Vet for dog’s nail clip and medications. ✔️ 

Lesson prep ✔️ 

Tutor 3 students only two, one cancelled ✔️ 

Log sessions from this week and check calendar ✔️ 

Scout shop for Scribe patch for Ds. ✔️ 

Trader Joe’s? ✔️ 

Pick up Ds from school. ✔️ 

Pick up Dd from a friend’s house? Dh might do this? ✔️ 

Dinner is something from TJ’s. Orange chx and potstickers for my family. Leftovers for me. Done ✔️

Did the online tutoring
Got 2nd grade done to week 25
Got 1st grade done to week 19 before I had to tutor, so back to it
Researching female-female aggression, what to do about it, etc, and how strong a factor that ought to be in our decision....I hate to say yes and end up with disaster; I hate to say no based on a what if that might not occur......ugh

Okay, had lunch, tried to take a 30 min nap, got interrupted by a text from my sister, dealt with that. 

Wrapped the bday gifts for the 2 girls, went to the party, which was mostly outdoors, came home. POURED rain on the way home, so skipped stopping at the store for dinner stuff, so breakfast for dinner it is. 

Need to look over my list of stuff and see what is left to do today...I think I'm good for the day.

Those are really great designs, Margaret!  I have no experience of any kind with rodeos or ranches, so I enjoy your posts and pictures about your life.!
