Weird dream last night

I dreamed that I was taking my kids to do their driver's license tests, but only about half of the required tasks involved driving.  The other half involved child care.  You had to sing a children's song, and hold babies of various ages appropriately, negotiate a trade of a favored item with a one year old, and get a two year old into socks, shoes, and a coat, and several other things that seemed like useful skills but not really driving related.   

Also, it turned out there were spiritual directors who worked at Target.  Or possibly it was KMart.

I recently had a dream where I was playing online chess with a man named Dan...which is weird because I despise chess and don't know anyone named Dan.  At first the game was going well, but then, before the computer would let me make my moves it started requiring me to answer pop quiz questions: Is the knight or the bishop taller? Was chess invented at 9am or 9pm? When is it good to move one pawn onto the same square as another?, etc. Before my next move a text window popped up with the prompt to "write a short essay about how the queen evolves as a character through the course of the game." And that was the end of the dream! 😄
