Technically I already have 42 minutes of exercise due to the DDPY New Years Even workout lasting well past midnight last night, lol. But hoping to do a live workout tonight - Fridays are "Y'all Burn" usually, a tag team "burn" workout with Kristin of Hey Y'all Fitness and Travis from Shamrock Fitness. After last night I'm looking more for "Y'all Tired" or "yall get some sleep" lol.

I only got 4 hours of sleep by the time I got done with eh workout, got the still awake 3 yr old to sleep (she had a long nap to be able to stay up), and got a post workout snack. That same 3 yr old was up at 7:30 despite going to bed at 1am, so although I REALLY want to do the class tonight and it is usually the highlight of me week....I'm tired and likely going to be sore. We shall see.

At least I woke up having already gotten my exercise ring closed!

I did 1.5 miles - it was very windy and slightly rainy and I was sick of fighting with the umbrella, so I didn't want to walk any more than that. It's supposed to be more rainy this afternoon/evening, so I'm not sure if I'll get back out to do more or not.

I did a bit of arm work as well.

Beautiful day here, and I woke up to my husband telling me about a nature trail he had read about online while researching potential neighborhoods in which to buy a house. (We're considering.) We decided to go walk the trail this morning. When he's sore, which he is right now, and using the cane to walk, he is slower than I am and can't go as far. So I kicked off the year with more of a stroll than a sprint. Still, it was almost 2 miles.

The walk was along a boardwalk leading to a lake. Lots of pretty things to look at and animals to see.

I'll go out again later today by myself or with the dog and try to log some more up-tempo steps..

Other than that and just making sure I get my minimum steps, I think the plan is to do the exercises my new physical therapist gave me yesterday.

It was a messy day here   I got in just about 3 miles of a hike in with a friend before the freezing rain started.

I also did a new to me DDPY workout and enjoyed that

I somehow managed to do the 90 minute Burn DDPY class - one of the instructors was a gues instructor joining from Norway, which was cool. I'm glad I did it as he taught me some new stuff (it was Paal, Ottake) but I'm ready to die now.

Miserable weather here--so we didn't do a family walk like I had hoped for today. I did get quite a bit of extra time in my  Walk at Home boosted walk--I think nearly an hour before I lost connection to the app. I did a stretching pilates session after that.

I managed 80 minutes before my kids intervened.  Ugh! That was fun, but dang I'm tired now.  Paal was cool, and I loved his shirts.  My blood sugars keep crashing after DDPY, so I need to contact the dietician.  I think I need to find some kind of a stretching workout for tomorrow and give my body a break.

Wow - thats a lot for that program! Great job! Longest I've done is 30 minutes, and only once, lol.

Great job! We didn't go much after that, I think I logged 91 minutes total, and that includes crawling over to my phone to stop the workout, lol. So you didn't miss much.

I think some people asked on the group about blood sugar dropping after - there were a few foods mentioned as helpful. I do notice that I get HUNGRY for real now that I'm doing this daily. Like, not "I'm craving something to nosh" but "I NEED to eat".

If you want something other than DDPY to stretch out and take a break try the Recovery Day Workout from Jessica Smith on youtube. Or if you want DDPY maybe Wake Up or one of the bed flex ones.

Looks like you can't receive messages at the moment, so:

The boardwalk is at the Oakland Nature Preserve near Lake Apopka: https://oaklandnaturepreserve.wildapricot.org/

The park, in general, reminded me strongly of Tibet Butler, which is also one of my favorite places.

oops! better clean out my inbox! And thank you - I'm in the Apopka area so I'll check that out!
