Jenny in Florida Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 I walked a little over 4K this morning, then did some stretches for my arms. Unfortunately, I have been ordered to stay off the stationary bike completely for a week while the doctor figures out whether my knee pain is being caused by arthritis. I hope to figure out some way to log my cardio in an appropriately low-impact way. 3 Quote

Harriet Vane Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Tough go today. It's dreary/cloudy outside and I stayed up far too late last night watching Castle. Sooooo much work to do today! 😏 But I think I will aim for at least a good walk on our lane and some paddling-on-a-ball. 3 Quote
Pawz4me Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 I got in the usual walk earlier today. 4 Quote

Perhaps it's a good time to do some arm or torso repetitions on a big ball? Just an idea. 1 Quote
Ottakee Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 I did a DDPY 30 minutes on the moon workout. Posted as intermediate but I found it easier than many of the beginner ones. Very doable, except the push ups. I still struggle greatly with those. Then I took a nice 45 minute walk with a friend on the slushy roads. We got 8 inches of wet, heavy snow last night, then some freezing rain, then some rain, and now temps of 37. Everything is a wet, heavy, slushy mesh. 4 Quote
purpleowl Posted December 31, 2020 Author Posted December 31, 2020 I didn't walk this morning (I decided to allow myself a morning of being a slug), but I did 4.1 miles this evening and did arm work. 2 Quote
melmichigan Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 I think my count was off because I moved up a level, which reset my progress. I finished Day 4 of DDPY. I have left myself at intermediate, but I plan to just substitute in wherever I want to keep my interested. Today was a repeat of a live class I did yesterday because my husband and one of my teens decided to join in. I registered for a live class for Friday. 🤞 @Jenny in FloridaI hope your knee is better soon! 4 Quote

I hope you get answers and relief soon (and you find a good low impact alternative for your cardio while you wait). ---- I did a boosted walk at home today. I didn't get to the pilates and weights I had planned today--hopefully tomorrow. 2 Quote
