2 miles walked and a little core work done. I am feeling sluggish when I exercise the last few days - probably due to poor eating thanks to Christmas treats. I'm hoping it'll work itself out as I get back to my usual habits!

I was super focused this morning, despite getting less than four hours of sleep. I rolled out of bed more or less on time, walked almost 4K/3 miles, then hit the stationary bike for 45 minutes/11.5 miles. In the name of saving time, I did some light weight work for my arms while I was pedaling. This means I have checked all of today's boxes except for meeting my step goal. However, I still have the rest of the day to make that happen.

I did a nice DDPY workout.  It was new to me, one with Paal, but great for upper body strength.   Then I met a friend for a hike in the snow and we covered just about 4 miles in the woods.  It was wonderful.

Tonight I am meeting another friend and going for another night hike.

A good day today for exercise. I had signed up for a December workout goal with my gym--work out X number of times and the gym donates X amount to charity. I set a super low goal of just the usual number of times that I meet with my trainer per month. Turns out she is not working later this week (and she definitely deserves a good break), so I had to sign up for something else official with the gym to get credit. Took a free roll-and-stretch class today (virtually) AND met with my trainer as per usual (virtually) AND took a quick walk on our lane after a frustrating grocery run. Definitely a good movement day. Not such a good healthy-diet day, unfortunately--my beloved father-in-law's sugary treats are far too tempting.

I have jumped on the DDPY bandwagon.  Today was day 2.  I will never be able to follow a "program" so I jumped to a live workout by Christine.  I've practiced yoga for years, and this seemed like an interesting way to get my heart rate up, which is something I've struggled with now that my gait is more limited. 🤞

Welcome to the DDPPY world.  I started with the stand strong level.  Then I went to beginner but had a knee injury so went back and did chair, and now I am doing a custom made workout plan.

I don't follow a "program" either - too ADHD to stick with the same workout many times in a row, etc. I just pick what looks good, plus add in live ones on facebook/zoom.
