purpleowl Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 Good morning! These threads are for those who'd like accountability and encouragement in doing intentional daily movement. Anyone may join in at any time! 1 Quote
Ausmumof3 Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I keep missing these threads but I walked the dog tonight that’s all. 3 Quote
Jenny in Florida Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 Coerced the dog into walking 3.4K/2.1 miles, then came inside for 30 minutes of boosted walking with Leslie. I have done a little light strength work, but still need to complete day 12 of the 12 Days of Fitmas challenge and ride the stationary bike for a while at some point today. 2 Quote
purpleowl Posted December 23, 2020 Author Posted December 23, 2020 I forgot to post my morning walk - it was 2.6 miles. Also did arm work and 4 more miles this afternoon. 2 Quote
Ottakee Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I got in a lot today. 30 minute DDPY workout 12 minutes of incline walking in the treadmill with my backpack on 2 mile hike with a friend 1 1/2 mile walk in high winds with the neighbor lady. 3 Quote

Pawz4me Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 We got in the usual dog walk earlier today. 3 Quote
sbgrace Posted December 24, 2020 Posted December 24, 2020 I had a weird, hard fall this afternoon--for better or worse I couldn't catch myself. I continued to have some pain, including my left knee and arm/shoulder, and didn't feel I should do my usual cardio stuff after that. This is the first day since I joined this thread that I'll miss my cardio! I did 30 minutes of a stretch and flexibility focused pilates tonight, just before this post. I'll head to bed soon. I actually think the pilates improved the pain. Hopefully with that and some good sleep I'll be back to normal tomorrow. Quote

ktgrok Posted December 24, 2020 Posted December 24, 2020 1 mile walk at home video with DD10 - the last mile she needed to earn her Nutcracker Medal from YesFit. And a 45 minute live DDPY class on facebook live. Was feeling tight and my back was hurting but I realized I'd only done the 10 minute warm up yoga the day before...seems if I do that little, my back hurts the next day. 2 Quote

Jessica Smith has a "recovery day" workout that is about 20 minutes that might help while you work you way back to normal. Feel better! 1 Quote
