BakersDozen Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 Has anyone used this for AP classes? Dd is fine with self-studying but prefers more discussion with her AP classes. For $55 it looks even better (PAH fees could never happen here)!Fiveable AP Quote
MamaSprout Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 It's an interesting option. Of course the discussion would only be as good as who is signed up for it. Comparative Government is a harder class (and test) to find, so I like that they have it. My dd is doing an Edx AP review course over break, and they want $50 to unlock the pre and post tests (although they sent me a coupon that makes it slightly less.) It looks like the fee is necessary for any EdX course if you want grading, so similar cost-wise. I can't seem to get to the future courses on High Five without signing up. I can find the current offerings by shorting the link you posted. https://courses.fiveable.me/collections This would be a nice, more interactive addition to some of the other low-cost AP prep courses (Edhesive, Physics Prep, EdX, Ulimate Review Packet). Those all seem to be in the $20-$100 range. Dd might look at more AP tests next year, especially if College Board makes them magically more available somehow. We have a a place that will let dd test, but they don't offer a lot of tests (although they are ordering her a separate BC exam for her since it's the same day/ time as the AB exam.) 1 Quote
