easypeasy Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Any suggestions for study materials that your student has used in the past that you were satisfied with? 🙂 DS signed up for these, then decided to NOT take the exams, then changed his mind. We're thinking of just macro because he's done some casual study on the material, but he'd like to consider both and perhaps take one AP and one CLEP. Thank you in advance!!! 🙂 Quote
MamaSprout Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 (edited) The ACDC courses have reviewed well in the past: https://www.acdcecon.com ETA- we might do our own thing next year and add on a CLEP exam, but I haven't looked at the Modern States CLEP courses yet for those subjects. I probably won't until we have a better idea where she's going to college. Edx/ Modern States has micro through MITx and AP Macro through Davidson Next. Edited December 22, 2020 by MamaSprout 4 Quote
Caraway Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 The ACDC videos are what got us through the Macro class, although my student didn't take the exam because of Covid. Quote
Lilaclady Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 I taught my students the AP macro last year. This book from the council of economics education was quite helpful. https://store.councilforeconed.org/shopping_product_detail.asp?pid=52362 1 Quote

Lilaclady Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 it is meant to be an addition to the textbook. It is mostly problems for the students to solve.
