purpleowl Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 First day of winter! These threads are for those who'd like accountability and encouragement in doing intentional daily movement. Anyone may join in at any time! Quote
purpleowl Posted December 21, 2020 Author Posted December 21, 2020 2 miles walked and core work done. Yay! 2 Quote
Ottakee Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I did some treadmill stuff at physical therapy and now just did a quick 1.5 mile walk with my neighbor. Still up is the DDPY core workout that kicks my butt 3 Quote
Jenny in Florida Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I walked 3.6K with the dog this morning, then did say 10 of the 12 Days of Fitmas challenge ( a leg day). I walked/danced along with Rick Bhullar for just short of 30 minutes. This puts me within 1,000 steps of today's goal and means all I have left on the checklist is 30 minutes on the stationary bike. I am tired, but it feels good to start the week on a good note. 2 Quote
scholastica Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Joining in. Got in my walk today. Hope to do stretch or core work later today. 2 Quote
sbgrace Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 I did a Walk at Home boosted walk late this evening and, even later, pilates. It was one of those days when I used this thread to motivate myself to get started on that boosted walk. 2 Quote
ktgrok Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 I lost my mind....did a short 15 minute walk at home video, then did a 10 minute "warm up" stretching/dynamic movement DDPY video. Okay. Cool. then did the 1 hour live DDPY class I normally do on Monday nights as planned. That was from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Awesome. Sweaty, tired, hungry. Put 3 yr old in the bath, and as I was checking my phone I saw that another instructor I like decided to do an impromptu class at 9pm to celebrate 2 of his students making it to the finals in the DDPY transformation challenge. And so I did that too - another hour of hard workout! A few months ago anything over 20 minutes seemed too hard/long! 3 Quote
