Dog Training Recommendations

I recently adopted an older (4-1/2 yo) mini-poodle.  He’s a great dog and I really love him!  However, he has some fairly severe separation anxiety and he barks like crazy.  I need to do some training with him but I’m not sure where to start.  

Does anyone have any recommendations for me??

I'd start with a vet consult. Because if the SA truly is already severe you're not going to have much luck with training until you get the stress level down. Stressed brains--in dogs or humans--can't learn well.
