matrips
Teens are all 15-17 yo. Gifts are to be $5-10. Should be funny, interesting or unique, and that you’d enjoy getting. Ideas?
Excelsior! Academy
A fun card game? Uno flip, Taco cat goat cheese pizza, etc. Mug, pair of fuzzy socks and $5 gift card. Do you have a 5 below near you? They have spectacular gifts for around $5 like decent quality headphones, games, and candy. Edited December 16, 2020 by Excelsior! Drama Llama
I gave my kids pvc pipe pieces to assemble to make a marshmallow shooter for Hanukkah today and marshmallows. Like a puzzle. It was a hit with the 13 year old. 2
Sharpie
Food. Beef jerky, Intense milk, microwave popcorn, gum, a bag of snickers, etc. My teens are boys and their love language is food. 😉 3

One of those multipacks of little boxes of sugar cereal would be a huge hit here. 1

I often put those out for treats for our youth group (along with other candy and bits and bobs) and they're always the first things gone. 1

athena1277
My teens do an exchange like that with our church youth group every year (except this year). A year or 2 ago, dd took a huge pack of colorful gel pens we found at Ross. They were a big hit with the girls. If it has to be gender-neutral, you could do pens and a nice notebook. Some might consider it cheating, but a $10 gift card to Sonic or Chick-fil-A is especially sought after in dirty Santa games. 1

HS Mom in NC
I'm not a stuff person at all, so the only gifts I've ever enjoyed at those exchanges, including when I was a teen, are edible gifts.
