My kids are young adults, yet I am still trying to hunt down a cow Squishmallow

If anyone spots them online, please let me know, lol.

I do draw the line at paying scalper's prices, in large part because I think it's not very nice to scoop up toys and sell them at a premium.

I had no idea what a Squishmallow was until my 20 yo nearly demanded one for Christmas--a 20" Mickey Mouse. She never requests, much less demands, things, so I ordered one ASAP. Showed it to my 17 yo son who semi-seriously responded, "Is it too late to change what I want?" The appeal is lost on me, but she says half of her team has them and travel with them to meets. Anyway--as for where to get one, have you tried your local Walgreen's? Ours had a surprisingly diverse array of Squishmallows. Kids are so weird. . ..

I got some at Walgreens too this year. It was a few weeks back, but maybe it would be worth it to stop in and check your local Walgreens? Nobody even requested them in my house. I just happened to see them when I went in for something else and walgreens had the big ones for $9.99, and I thought ‘hey, that would be a nice car pillow for traveling bc they’re so soft, and washable!’ So I grabbed up 3 different ones. Guess I lucked out on something this year!😂

I have a Squishmallow -- either from last year's Christmas or maybe the Valentines before. They are so soft and squishy!  I understand the appeal.  I've seen them at Wal-greens and Wal-mart

Walmart has some online - I don’t know about the cow - for lower prices than Amazon.

Costco had some amazing deals a month or so ago, maybe dig around on their website.  They were $12 each, minimum order of two.  And huge.  I meant to order more, and totally forgot.

I should have prefaced this post with, "Connor the Cow is not sold in actual Walgreens stores and has been out of stock online for at least a month." 😅

I hit their big sale - they had the 16" ones for $10!! - and bought 4 in person and 3 online for various people, but no. freaking. cow.

The Mickey Mouse one is so cute! I had to resist getting one for myself. Very popular with the college kids around here as well. My dd said they make comfy pillows for guests, and are much cuter than actual pillows. Apparently, when the Cards Against Humanity or Dungeons and Dragons game drags on too late, you just throw Squishmallows at everyone and call it a night.

Walgreens.  We got our Nutcracker one there last year.  They had a lot.  They had them at Aldi this year too.

Is there any kind that you are looking for?

We bought 7 at Walgreens, lol. We are looking for the silly cow, which is not sold in stores (or not Walgreens stores anyway), and has been out of stock online forever.

And, no, I do not have any idea whatsoever as to why she wants the dang cow so much.

Ohhhhh a dilemma!! It's the smaller size, which I would go for, but . . . doesn't arrive till after Christmas. Hmm. Maybe I'll order it and cancel if I find it with a quicker arrival time.

I hit that sale, too! We bought 7 total, it's what all the great niblings are getting for Christmas. We went to three different Walgreens looking for specific ones, lol. $10 is an amazing price and  you are going to be very popular.

Alas, no cow, and no 16" ones at all (although I would have bought a bigger cow if they had it!). They do have a good price on a couple of the 20" ones.

@katilac, did you find one yet? Inquiring minds want to know. 🙂

Not yet. I am stalking Walgreens periodically. I'm currently a bit annoyed at the young adult in question, yet the hunt goes on.

I learned in my first go-round that Walgreens likes to toy with your emotions. They have it listed, it even says "Please allow 7-10 days for shipping" in bright blue letters, but it is out of stock. Very cruel, Walgreens, very cruel.

All I have to offer is a "good for you!" When I was a senior in high school, I asked for a Tickle Me Elmo for Christmas. Idk why. It was 1997 and they were the big, hard-to-find gift that year, and by golly, my mom found me one. LOL.

I have no idea what a Squishmallow is, but it's probably a good thing because my girls love squishies and cute stuffies, and this sounds like the best of both worlds! 😂

What size do teens/young adults prefer?  Getting some for my kids 16th birthday today.  Thanks

Usually the 16" ones, because they are big enough to be a pillow without breaking the bank like the even bigger ones.

And lo! There was a Christmas miracle.

dd was in a bargain store two days ago, and practically tripped over a cow Squishmallow on the floor! It wasn't even the toy department. It was the 8" one but also only $8. So she wasn't surprised, but she did get her cow, along with a 16" dragon, lol.

Yay!  What a great story.

Yes, and I would have bought one for my burrito-loving kid except he already has favorite blankie and a weighted blanket. This burrito is right up his alley. Happy to have discovered a bowl of cereal for him as well. February birthday...
