I am trying to remember where I saw a gift kit that was something you build/put together that was made of wood maybe and when you are done the thing works? Or I could totally be making it up. I have no idea, but if you know of something that might fit the bill, please share

Humorously, my ds#2 built one of these as a Eureka Crate  (same company that makes Tinker crates - Kiwi Co) earlier this year. His only complaint was not enough little spikes so he could finish a song.
