purpleowl Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Finally Friday, woohoo! These threads are for those who'd like accountability and encouragement in doing intentional daily movement. Anyone may join in at any time! 3 Quote
purpleowl Posted December 4, 2020 Author Posted December 4, 2020 I walked 4.1 miles this morning and did some core work. Had to get started early for a longer walk because I may not be able to get an afternoon walk in - it's supposed to rain. 3 Quote
Ottakee Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 I just did the DDPY hot core. Just under 15 minutes but it kicks my butt. Show just how much I need it. Hoping to go for a walk with a friend or two later today. 3 Quote
Pawz4me Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Just got back from the daily walk. It was a damp one again (sigh). 3 Quote
Jenny in Florida Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Did my 3K/2-ish mile walk with a very reluctant and poky dog this morning. Because I'm doing the Holiday Hustle challenge, I'm turning on the run tracker in the app for my morning walks, Today I noticed that there is a rather significant disparity in pace between walks I take with and without my canine companion. When she's with me, I average about 14 minutes/kilometer, but when I walk alone it's just over 10. I appreciate her company, and I think it's good for her to get out and walk and explore, but I may need to look for some more opportunities to go solo, too. I squeezed in a couple of Jessica Smith videos totally just over 30 minutes before I needed to sit down to work, which counts as my cardio for today. The plan is to ride the stationary bike for 30-ish later, probably after work, and then consider an evening walk if I need steps to make my goal. 2 Quote
Junie Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Agatha and I spent 90 minutes on the exercise bike. I wanted to finish the book. 😉 I think this might be my favorite Agatha Christie yet. 4 Quote
sbgrace Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Love the Agatha, Junie. I may try reading on my bike. Today I did a walk at home boosted walk for cardio and pilates (legs today). 3 Quote
Lady Florida. Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 I did two Jessica Smith videos - 20-minute back friendly total body strength training followed by an 8 minute total body standing stretch/cool down routine. 3 Quote
Ausmumof3 Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 I walked Friday which was yesterday for me but not today. The weather is really rough. I’m actually feeling the lack tonight, feeling like I needed some movement. 2 Quote
