PSA: Delta blocking Middle Seats through March 30, 2021 (and Great service for DD day before Thanksgiving)

PSA:   Delta Air Lines has extended the blocking of Middle Seats. Previously they said they would do that at least through January 6, 2021.  A few days ago, they extended that through March 30, 2021.   🙂

OT: DD had not been home for 15+ months, because the airports here were closed for 6 months due to COVID-19 and also for another reason unrelated to COVID-19.  . She arrived  in our house about 1 A.M. on Thanksgiving Day   🙂

The service on Delta was excellent yesterday (She flew from Raleigh-Durham to Atlanta and then to Bogota on Delta)  and the final flight from Bogota to Cali on Avianca was also fine and arrived early.

 Colombia continues to be very strict because of COVID-19 and my Stepson had to go alone in the car to pick up DD at the airport, without having anyone else in the car to keep him awake. My DW told me only the driver was permitted to go to pick DD up at the airport.

Very special thanks to Delta Air Lines, for blocking the Middle Seats and for the Cleanliness of the 2 aircraft DD was in yesterday and their outstanding policies and service.    🙂

IMO (I was an airline employee when I was very young) United and American are not in the same league with Delta. To me that's like comparing Apples to Oranges. Not the comment my DD made comparing SPIRIT and Delta, but SPIRIT is an Ultra Low Cost airline and Delta isn't. Not fair to compare them.  

She had  food packed in Glass from Trader Joes that made the trip on the 2 Delta flights and then the short Avianca flight in one of her 2 checked bags.  Everything survived the trip in the belly of the 3 different aircraft models.
