purpleowl Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 We've made it to Wednesday! Just for clarity - these threads are for those who'd like accountability and encouragement in making sure to intentionally do some sort of movement/exercise each day. Anyone who wants to is free to jump in at any time. 🙂 1 Quote

Pawz4me Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Just got back from the morning walk. It's cloudy and dampish feeling, so I'm glad to get it done and get back inside! 2 Quote
Ottakee Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 I did a 35 minute DDPY stand Up workout. It about kicked my butt. It was not intense really but much of the focus was on balance and I struggle with that. My heart rate was in the target zone almost the entire time.  One to add to my list every week or so. 2 Quote

Balance is my issue as well - and then my foot starts to cramp up from trying to use foot muscles to keep from falling over. But I'm slightly better than I was, so there is improvement, albeit slow. 1 Quote
ktgrok Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 I swore I already posted..maybe I did in the wrong day. 15 minute Walk at Home 1 Mile video after lots of walking around grocery stores. Later I did a 23 minute DDP yoga workout - a new one to me that was just the right level, and quick moving. Tomorrow I plan to do a 9am live DDP Yoga workout before cooking the feast 🙂 1 Quote
Lady Florida. Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 I accidentally walked 5 miles yesterday. 😂 I got somewhat lost exploring the neighborhoods (there are several connected ones and we all share the same clubhouse). I started out at 4:30 and got home nearly 7:00, after ds came and picked me up. I didn't know that part of the trail is a really big circle and I came to a house decorated for Christmas that I knew I'd seen before. There was a family out walking so I asked them where I was (I always bring a mask with me on my walks so I put it on and stayed a respectable distance from them).  Once I realized I had been going in circles and figured out where I was I knew I didn't want to continue and walk home. Dh was at work but I had already been texting ds half joking that he might need to come get me. I finally gave in and let him. Map My Walk said I went 4.96 miles while Google Fit said 5.05.  Either way, if I don't get to exercise today (Thanksgiving Day) I figure yesterday covered me lol. Why you might ask, didn't I just use my gps and a map app to get home? Because this area is so new that none of the apps recognize anything but empty fields. Waze is meant for driving not walking, and Google Maps has apparently not kept up with the builders of the area. Both apps wanted to take me a very long way out of my way to get me to the nearest road in order for them to send me home. Even two of the streets ds drove on to come get me don't exist on digital maps yet. I'm pleased to report that my legs are not killing me today like I thought they would be. That means I could walk 5 miles if I chose to do it on purpose and not feel sore from it.  2 Quote
