Morning, everybody!

My list today:
....go tutor the 4 yr old
...fridge repair guy sometime between 8 and 12 (please, let him be able to fix it.....)
...D&D gang coming over (their food is in the crockpot already)
...more laundry (one load waiting to be folded, 2 more to wash/dry/fold)
...write a letter to my sister (will write now, leave here for her to read while I'm out, hopefully things will be normal when I get back)
...decide if/where to move my sewing machine so I can actually sew (sharing with the kids' D&D table is not working, and now that I'm going to have time off/time to sew, I'd like to have a place to do so)
...at some point, watch Grey's Anatomy recorded last night
...hang out with DH and oldest DS, as the other 2 have one of the D&D kids staying over tonight
...hope for a peaceful day today

Happy Friday, everyone; here's hoping for a good weekend!

Rough morning here.

Ds was slow to get up, grouchy, and almost late to school. I have a raging headache for the second day in a row. Now our printer and/or laptop won't print and Dd is an hour late starting school.

Sigh.

To do:

YNAB

Costco

Visit mom

Walk!!

AHG stuff

Pick up boy and CSA box

Dinner is Gochujang chx and some tbd veggies.

Headaches are the worst, Scout; praying you feel better soon.

Re: the printer, you maybe already tried this, but just in case, ours often requires me to make my laptop "forget printer" and then "find printer" because something or other makes the ISP address (or whatever) change. It's very weird and annoying, but is always now the first thing I do whenever the printer and laptop don't talk to each other. The laptop will say that the printer is there and ready, but the printer will never actually print. So forgetting/refinding resets it. (but you then also have to, at least with mine, close whatever you were trying to print and reopen it, or else it will still think it's trying to talk to the old printer setting......)

If you already tried all that and I'm being annoying, not helpful, sorry 🙂

I wrote the letter to my sister; 3 pages. We'll see how that goes. The 4 yr old has been delayed until 10:00 -- and....cancelled, b/c youngest DS has a fever and stomachache. Joy. I really hate crap like that during Covid.....this is most likely nothing (he's been around no one), but..... D&D, cancelled; kid coming over tonight, cancelled; tutoring the 4 yr old today, cancelled. I am sequestering the 15 yr old upstairs and we will wear masks while the fridge guy is here; please no one yell at me for that.

Laundry and closet-rearranging it is.....

on the plus side, I think I can rearrange the closet to fit school stuff, and then move the sewing machine to where the school stuff is, and solve two problems at once that way (get rid of the school clutter in the bedroom, and create a comfy sewing space for myself for while my sister is here)

fridge guy came and left; fridge is repaired. Whew! So thankful for that.

My sister took her letter, went to her room, hasn't come back down. :sigh: we were getting along this morning....

Going to fold laundry/swap laundry and then probably take a nap.

Costco took forever.

Yesterday's heart test came back excellent. VERY happy!

Picked up a salad curbside at Panera.

Headed to my mom's. Got her flowers and a sweater at Costco.

Managed to do Bible and Barton with the Wiggle Monster.  I love him, but the fourth season (cold) and little boys with endless energy do not go together! 😉

Dr. appt - done.  I like our pediatric practice. ❤️ And DD is scheduled for a Covid test.  Really? The only person who now leaves our house....... Oy.  I'm sure it will be negative, but (shrug) I guess we have to know.  Can't fit her in until Sunday.

Off to Barton x 2 more kiddos today.
Little more school.

Out of cabbage, dinner has been changed to spaghetti squash and meatballs.
Laundry is movin' forward.
Kiddos have online classes in an hour.  DD16 is napping.  She is really not feeling well. 😞

Hugs, Kelly; prayers for your dd. I am waiting on the county to call back and set up the Covid test for my 15 yr old......he now complains of headache.

Lunch was good; luckily, this chicken/dumplings in the crockpot was delicious, as we'll be eating it for days. Unfortunately, my sister does not like chx/dumplings (did not know that) and now will be stuck eating it/finding her own food for days.  She still has not come out of her room since this morning's note. I am striving not to let it affect me.

Laundry is moving, kids are otherwise doing okay, DH and I are running to the store for chewable meds for DS15 and more Airborne for the rest of us. I will pick up some of my sister's yogurt as a peace offering.

Headache went away with more water, some Tylenol, and a walk!

Got the news that Ds' school will go virtual after TG, for an undetermined length of time. I am betting all of December. No live people, no exercise, no out-and-around. This winter could be really bad here for my massively extroverted boy. And for those who have to live in the same small house with him! The school has not had any covid cases, but the hospitals here are close to full and numbers are not going down.

Changed the dinner plan: kielbasa, mac n cheese, roasted brussels sprouts, green salad.

Watching a film version of Huck Finn wirh Elijah Wood in it tonight. Disney, so probably entertaining, but ...

went to the store, got meds; boy child is fever free at the moment, but his chest/torso is RED, like sunburned red. Forehead and scalp a little red also, and warm to the touch, even though the thermometer says no fever. ??

Gave him more tylenol and sent him for a cool shower just in case; still no word from the county for a covid test appt, so we will monitor and do urgent care if needed. Weirdness.

DH says he'll move his workout stuff to the garage to make room for my sewing stuff, so that will be good.

Vegging out for the rest of the night (folding the last load of laundry now and that makes that all caught up)
