Hi guys, happy Wednesday!

Done:

  • Worked a bit in the wee hours.
  • Dealt with my kid's drink spilled on her mattress.  😕  Washed bedding overnight.
  • Slept maybe 6 hours?
  • Texted my sister.
  • Woke the kids for school.
  • A little cleaning.
  • Took out the garbage.
  • Walked about 1.5 miles outside in the a.m.
  • Fed the bird.
  • Washed dishes.
  • A little reading.
  • Caught up on emails, news, calendar, and social media.
  • Followed up with various school things.  Looks like they may both have a decent GPA for Q1, but it's too early for a sigh of relief.
  • Completed one difficult work project and several easy work tasks.

To do:

  • Lots more work.
  • Kid2 to horse riding.
  • Make Kid1 run.
  • Some kind of dinner ....
  • Make the kids do their homework.
  • Walk.  I am working on making up for almost no walking during the final 4 days before my Big Work Deadline.  Yesterday I did 5.8 miles.  I was hoping for 7 miles per day until I caught up, but apparently that's hard to accomplish, at least on work/school days.
  • Photos for kid's birth mom.
  • More school stuff.
  • Maybe do some continuing education if I get time.
  • Whatever else gets done.

Got it all done except for the article. Oh well. That can happen tomorrow. Strangely, I got several phone calls today and probably was on the phone for 2 hours. I never talk on the phone but there you go.

Hi Amy! Are you doing ok?

I'm the same. I'm sleeping better and less stressed, but I'm still have the shaky inside feeling. My dad has essential tremors, so I'm wondering if it's related. I am trying to wait to go to neurologist after the first of the year. I need to pay off all these bills, and we'll have a little HRA money in January that will help with a visit.

How are you doing, Scout?

Glad for your better sleep. I understand the need to time medical things because we do that too. What are essential tremors? I will pray for the shaky feeling to go away!

I am fairly stressed. Diabetes is under control, but now I have Hashimoto's too, so researching autoimmune diets etc. Cardiac calcium test tomorrow (imaging) to see how my coronary arteries are bc my cholesterol is too high. Life is too busy and I feel as though I never get anything done well. Money is always a stressor. My dh and ds are both challenging relationally right now. Glad that TG and Christmas are coming and will be low key and quiet at home. Hoping to catch up on a few things, enjoy reading a big fat novel, and rest.

Essential tremors are the tremors people can get in their hands or other parts of their body, but they aren't related to any disease. My dad and sister have them. My dad mostly had them in his hands, but I've noticed he has more shakiness in his arms, too, now that he's older. My sister has them in one hand.

I'm sorry you are stressed, and I pray you will find what is best for the new issue!

  • Thanks 1
