Soror Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Feels like it is around my diaphragm. Started in the middle of the night, it squeezes and stops and varying intervals. 2 Quote
Pawz4me Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Off the top of my head -- Acid reflux Esophageal spasms Angina or heart attack I put angina/heart attack, but really those probably aren't nearly as likely as the first two. I hope you feel better soon! 1 Quote

Katy Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Gallbladder pain can be in your center upper abdomen, on the upper right, or even up in between your shoulder blades. I’ve had persistent gas pain in that spot before though. Especially when pregnant. Eventually I’d pass gas and the pain would instantly disappear. 1 Quote
ktgrok Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Esophogeal spasms, actual diaphragm spasms, heart attack, gall bladder pain. 1 Quote
Jaybee Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 I was reading yesterday about covid patients having chest pain, sometimes at the places where the ribs attach to the sternum. Could that apply? 1 Quote
Soror Posted November 18, 2020 Author Posted November 18, 2020 After breakfast I have just a light dull pain, not in a specific area now. Feel ls close to just an upset stomach. It is not bad pain but noticeable. Maybe something I ate bothered it??? Quote
Ditto Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Gallbladder is what first came to mind. 1 Quote
Ditto Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 I hope it goes away and you feel better soon. 1 Quote
Forget-Me-Not Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Gallbladder can refer pain all over the abdomen. And it can definitely cause upset stomach. 1 Quote
SKL Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Pleurisy? Is it worse when you take a deep breath? 2 Quote
Alicia64 Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 I had a really painful gallbladder situation until it was finally removed. Just putting it out there in case that's what it is. Take care, W. 1 Quote
Starr Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 My former gallbladder pain felt like bad and very bad indigestion. If your doctor thinks it's gallbladder there is a scan they could order. You could also try cutting fat from your diet and eating small amounts at a time. It sounds like it's been bothering you for a while. I would get it further checked out. Hugs to you. 1 Quote
AmandaVT Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 Sounds a bit like my gallbladder last year - bad pain in the upper abdomen and nausea. Hope you feel better soon! 1 Quote
wintermom Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 Could be so many different things depending on the exact location. There aren't many pain receptors in the abdomen, so it's hard to localize pain. It's usually referred to some other spot. Have you tried pressing down on certain areas of your abdomen and see how you feel? Any sharp pain that makes you catch your breath or tear up? Guesses: - stress - allergies - gas - constipation - muscle cramps from core exercise - sitting at the computer for a long time - gallbladder 1 Quote

I woke up with just a bit of pain last night but less intense and shorter lived. By yesterday evening it was just a general ick feeling with a tiny bit of nausea. So far this am I've hardly felt anything and have just the smallest bit of unwell. I'm leaning toward gall bladder and hope it continues to go away. We've had enough medical crap this year I don't want to deal with anymore unless I have to. I don't eat high or low fat but will keep an eye on fat intake to see if it has any effect.
