I'd love you to check out my Etsy shop with lots of unique gifts. I make them all by hand.

The banners I make are so sweet. They are super popular in England, where I grew up, and I give one as a gift whenever I can.

Thank you!

Got this nail polish holder for ds' gf and got some polishes to put in it... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PM1DZNL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm guessing that your son's girlfriend is a serious fan of nail polish!

ps... thank you for doing this every year! 💛

You are quite welcome. I do have to admit to dithering this time; it's been a strange year.

I hope that all of your gifts are well received, Thatboyofmine.

You have some lovely gifts, mum. I mentioned in another thread that I'd love to receive some fabric gift bags; yours are charming. My daughter is a big fan of owls and would definitely like this!

Thanks for starting this thread! I've always loved reading what people find!

@Thatboyofmine, I ADORE that ring and I'm sure your son's gf will love it. Fun nail stuff, too!

Not my Etsy shop, but one belonging to another boardie:

I love her bunny and kangaroo lovies and her cuddly animal friends.

I like this "I See You, I Hear You, I Stand with You" BLM tee:

I love these decoupaged hearts, especially the animal ones:

That looks like a fun gift, Newlma!

I see that it's published by Chronicle Books who make quality books and gifts. I'm fond of these cards from them ~ Bibliophile Notes

Behind-the-wheel Driver’s Ed. Maybe not sexy but very much wanted by the child in question and supports a local business.

I am also all for practical gifts. My daughter's favorite gift when she was four was her very own hot water bottle.

Happy driving practice for your child!

I am ordering these!!!!  My 15 year old never really got over being weaned.  Pretty much the only milk she will drink is body temperature milk with weak ovaltine, which makes it taste a lot like breast milk.  I'm really curious about this.  And so many other flavors look fantastic!  Thank you!

I bought this customizable (handmade to order) Mobii fidget necklace for my teen:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DYDSLMS?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_image

Shipping was quick and I'm pleased with it. I'm also thinking of getting same child this cat-pattern fidget ring:

https://www.amazon.com/ALEXTINA-Womens-Stress-Stainless-Spinner/dp/B07FDBDB6Y/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Fidget+ring+cat&qid=1605281233&sr=8-2

More gifts for cat-loving artists! I bought these stand-up pencil pouches for my girls:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BBVTR82?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_image

Plus these cat-themes pencil shaving roller/collector:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082W6BW5P?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_image

(Do they work? -- I have no idea!! LOL, I'm taking a chance on them.)

This is a PHENOMENAL thread -- thank you for starting it Kareni!

If a loved one needs/can use a walking cane, this is the most beautiful cane -- that's actually a piece of art -- I've ever come across. And I've looked at zillions. The price is unreal too. A man in Italy hand carves and paints these.

Still on walking canes. . . I found a real walking cane that's painted to look like a Christmas candy cane. It's beyond festive and cute. And its the real-deal: it's not a toy, not a decoration. . . it's a real walking cane.

Also people love photo mugs -- that you create -- from Costco. People are tickled by these.

That's it for now -- I'm hoping to have more to report soon!

Thank you again for such a fun thread!!

Mum, do you ever make those denim perfect tote bags with a zipper top?   How long is the shoulder drop?

I haven't made them with a zipper, but certainly could! From top of the strap to the top of the bag is about 12". This length can also be made to your specifications. I'm always happy to receive custom orders!

Trader Joes has Boozy Chocolate Truffles in a lovely gift box, imported from England. I'm giving those as gifts to some older relatives that enjoy consumables!

Also a box for my daughter, who is turning 21 in 2 weeks!

I'd love to give these as gifts, but we don't have a Trader Joe's.  I checked and I don't think they ship.

I hope that they'll work well; they remind me of the crumb catchers I've sometimes seen in restaurants (remember those?!).

I love all the unique items.  You guys are great unique gift hunters!

Does anyone know where I can get a fidget spinner?  Preferably not Amazon (I did find them there if necessary).  My usual stores do not have them.

Are you opposed to online shopping in general? Fun and Function has lots of fidgets, including some unique spinners: https://funandfunction.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=fidget
