lovinmyboys Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I probably can get away with a cheap one from anywhere, but just curious if you have one you love for regular life-not homeschooling. Lately I have been using apps on my phone, but I feel like I need to go back to paper. For whatever reason, the phone isn’t working as well for me as it used to. Quote
Excelsior! Academy Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Yes! And it has taken me YEARS to find it. I love the Clever Fox Planner. https://cleverfoxplanner.com/collections/undated-weekly 2 Quote

elegantlion Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I've used several different planners over the years. It kind of depends how you plan and what's important to you, such as daily pages, weekly layout, size, paper type, cost etc. Jet Pens carries a variety of Japanese planners (which are lovely). https://www.jetpens.com/Planners/ct/2815?sa=product_date_added_dt&so=-1 For next year I'm using a daily planner from paperblanks. https://www.paperblanks.com/en/catalog/12-month/ I've also added a small vertical weekly supplement because I like to see my weekly schedule all at one glance. https://www.jetpens.com/Hobonichi-Accessory-Weekly-Calendar-2021/pd/30486 1 Quote

EKS Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I make a custom planner using Agendio. I tweak the design every six months. It's expensive but it works great. 2 Quote
stephanier.1765 Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I'm happy with my Happy Planner. I found it at Tuesday Morning so I thought I'd give it a try. I enjoy using it. It keeps me on track, it's easy to see at a glance what needs to be done, and it's adaptable to specific needs. Quote
prairiewindmomma Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 https://intheleafytreetops.com/2021-planners-all-versions/ The joy of this planner isn’t in the weekly spread (which is fabulous), but in all of the other pages—kid tracking pages, holiday planning pages, blank grid pages, etc. I have to rework a page here or there but it is all of my brain in one book. Carrie12345 Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I’m still in love with the Happy Planner, specifically the dashboard layout. I like that it gives me the days of the week on the right and a place for notes for the week on the left. I have lots of to-dos that don’t have to take place on specific days. 2 Quote
Alicia64 Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I really love the Well Planned Day planner. I think I'm on fourth year of using. I love them. You'll find them here. They are not cheap so to save money I bought the "on the go" version, but regretted it. I like the roomier size. Wendy Quote

I didn't know they came with different layouts. Do you happen to know what the layout is called that has 3 subsections for each day? I'm really enjoying dividing it into a "to do" section, a "craft section" and a "errands/appointments" section, so when it comes time to get a new one I'd like to get the same kind again. Quote

I think that’s the vertical layout you’re looking for. 1 Quote

easypeasy Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Ooooh, I'm glad this thread was bumped up because I missed it the first time around. I HAD a planner design that I loved and have used for years.... But now my kids are all grown up. I don't need to track their everyday stuff anymore, I don't need to give anyone rides anywhere... I just need to write stuff down for ME. And right now, MY schedule is very loosey-goosey. Not a lot to write down. It's time to shop for a me-specific planner instead of a family one. 🙂 3 Quote
Lady Florida. Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 I have a basic Day Designer planner and I really like it. I like that it has "Today's Top Three" at the top of each day. Instead of trying to get through a long and unrealistic to do list I can list the main three things I need to get done. Of course I can add more if I need to but it encourages me to prioritize. I've been using the monthly/weekly planner but I just bought the daily planner for 2021. The layout is basically the same but with more space for each day. Oddly, they're cheaper in stores. I usually buy mine at Target and don't pay as much as the cost on their website. We got this Get Stuff Done planner and habit tracker for ds 23 for his birthday in September. He has ADHD and requested it. Apparently he saw it recommended on an ADHD site he frequents. It only covers 13 weeks and he hasn't mentioned getting a new one so I'm almost afraid to ask him if he found it as helpful as he hoped it would be, or even if he's still using it. 1 Quote
