YaelAldrich Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 2.37 miles on the elliptical. Heading to run at PT soon. Good luck everybody! 6 1 Quote
Jenny in Florida Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Walked 1.3 miles outside, then did my indoor cardio. Will ride the stationary bike later when I get a break. 5 1 Quote
Matryoshka Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Okay, less procrastinating again today! 😄 Did a mixed upper body weights/tabata cardio workout first, then did my mile on the rower, with a cool-down came to 1750m, so just a squidge over today. The other workout was a lot, so figured I could take it easy on the rower. 😉 5 1 Quote
historically accurate Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Another mile in the books here. Gorgeous weather here! Got to wave at a few neighbors. 4 1 Quote
ktgrok Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Went for a walk with my DD10 and pushed DD3 in the stroller. Got 1.2 miles done - mid 70's weather and sunny! I figured the time outside in the sun would help my election anxiety. But now I have to bathe the dogs...I'd been putting it off, but while we were out Tracker the hound peed on Sandy the Golden Wolf-a-dog-a-doodle's head. Not sure if I'm more annoyed with his aim, or her not getting out of the way. (this is NOT the first time this has happened, either). I prefer to wash them outside in the hose, but it's just windy enough and cool enough in the shade that I'll do it in the shower instead. Blergh. 1 1 5 Quote

Had the same problem with my two Monday morning, but thankfully it was only a couple of drops of wee and some waterless shampoo took care of it. Quote

With yours does it happen when they both discover an amazing sniffing spot, then on is still sniffing while the other "marks" it? Quote

Yes! I try to pay attention and be quick with the leash to pull her back, but my mind is frequently off in La La Land. Quote
Jentrovert Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Yoga/stretching again, done. Will also walk a mile or so this evening. 2 1 Quote
Ditto Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Power walked 1 1/2 miles with weights. 3 1 Quote
Ottakee Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 I posted today's on yesterday's....oops. Walked a mile with my students this morning and then walk 3ish this noon with a friend over my lunch break. Beautiful sunny weather, no need for a jacket at noon. 4 1 Quote
Pen Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 On my way... seems that I can no longer skip, but swinging both arms together is sort of interesting 4 1 Quote
Pam in CT Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 1.1 m dog walk. Beautiful crisp fall day today, no wind no wet; so that made the going easier. My neighborhood is one long loop, on a forested hill with houses spaced rather far apart. Often I don't pass a single soul when I do the loop. Today I saw MANY more folks, all of them women; and ALL of our dogs were unusually hyped and restive and setting off the OTHER dogs out in their respective electrically-fended in yards. Everyone's feeling the tension, even the dogs. 5 1 Quote
mathnerd Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Done. Might head out for another walk later tonight if the weather is not chilly. 3 1 Quote
Acorn Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 I haven’t kept up with posting and it’s only day 4. 11/4/20 biked 5 miles 3 1 Quote
ktgrok Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 I already posted my mile outdoor walk, but because my apple watch is mean and only counted 4 minutes of that walk as "exercise" minutes, I also did a 1 mile Leslie Sansone Walk at Home video (one with Kamilah, my favorite). And then a yoga video focused on abwork, and then, because I was STILL 2 minutes short of my "exercise" goal I did 5 more minutes of a walk at home video. Hit all my rings though! 5 1 Quote
Toocrazy!! Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Outside walk this morning- done. Rowing workout - done. 3 1 Quote
EmilyGF Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Left the house to talk after taking the pie out of the oven. It was dusk and I got home before dark. DD12 was playing outdoors with a neighbor (masked, distanced) so I let her stay home. I saw some neighbors walking and they said, "Hi everyone!" and then looked around and asked, "You're alone?" Yes, it is that rare to walk by myself. I love walking with my kids. It just wasn't possible tonight. Glad I got out anyways. 4 1 Quote
Ausmumof3 Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 I’m counting my tennis with ds yesterday. It’s not really walking but it was hard slog and we did forty minutes. I only managed a short walk the day before due to weather so think I’m caught up for that. 3 1 Quote
Drama Llama Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 I walked some distance. I really don't know, maybe a mile? 1 1 Quote
Ali in OR Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Got the dog walk today after school. Then I raked leaves. 64° and cloudy when I walked. And raked. 1 1 Quote
itsheresomewhere Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Got in a mile in between doing a ton of things. 1 1 Quote
Lady Florida. Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 I accidentally walked 2.09 miles today lol. I planned to walk my usual 1 mile loop around the neighborhood but there's a pedestrian walkway that I've been meaning to follow and see where it leads. Today I took that turn onto the walkway instead of following my usual route. I kept walking and walking through the next two subdivisions and finally stopped at just over 1 mile. Then of course I had to walk back, which gave me just over 2 miles. I don't know if it's normally a busy walking area but today I passed a lot of people. People walking their dogs, people pushing strollers, kids and adults on bicycles, and people just walking like me. I could blame it on a build up of tension but more likely it's just that we're finally getting cool enough temperatures to be outdoors. 2 1 Quote
Junie Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 An hour with the exercise bike and a book. I keep a book by the bike that I am only allowed to read if I'm exercising. It helps me to go just a little bit longer... 2 1 Quote
Junie Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Also -- I missed Day 3 due to a migraine. 😞 Just keeping myself accountable. 2 Quote
purpleowl Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 We did our zoo trip today (and added in a stop by the beach while we were in Jacksonville). We left our house at 6:15am and got back at 10:15pm. Fun day but exhausting! Anyway, I didn't intentionally track, but both DH and I have Google Fit enabled on our phones, so that does some automatic tracking on the background. My phone says just over 3.5 miles. His says just over 5 miles. We walked basically the same amount, so I'm not sure how it got such different totals, lol. Then when we got home I did some brief arm work. I totally phoned it in, but I did it. 1 Quote
PinkTulip Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Rowed for 40 minutes today to make up for missing my 20 minutes yesterday. I’m still 10 minutes down for the month (pulled a muscle Sat. and was sore until today), but I’ll make up that time tomorrow. 2 Quote
mommyoffive Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Got my workout in yesterday while staying glued to the news all day. 1 Quote
