SquirrellyMama Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 I don't even think it was 2 days from when I replied to a thread about how things had been fine so far with 100% school in person to when my ds fell ill. It came on suddenly. Just got his test back today. He is feeling weak with a heavy chest. But, he seems better than the first 3 days. Yeah quarantine! Kelly 1 34 Quote

Do you have a way to keep him apart from everyone else? I hope he’s better quickly. Yes, everyone else is fine so far. We do have a room in the basement with a bed and a bathroom attached. He has been isolated since Thursday. Kelly Quote

SquirrellyMama Posted November 2, 2020 Author Posted November 2, 2020 This is what frustrates me the most. When my ds was sent home on Thursday they said to see what the doctor said to do. They were not apparently requiring a test. The doctor wasn't going to test, but we insisted. I have never wanted anyone to get sick because of us. I feel like the school should require a test. How many people should have been tested, but weren't because the doctor didn't think they had it? 7 Quote

That is ridiculous by both the school and doctor. So scary! How many kids could then carry it on to family? What about the families with medically fragile people? I'm outraged about this! I hope your boy makes a speedy recovery. 1 Quote
