Not_a_Number Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Because our current handcrafting project is a stuffed Tunip! I think it’s turning out well... still needs flippers and feet and its sprout, though! 9 1 Quote

Elizabeth86 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 (edited) Oh yeah. When my 2nd son was 2-3 he watched that show all the time and new EVERYTHING about Octonauts. His 3rd birthday was Octonauts themed. Now my 5 yo dd is taking us on Octonauts round 2. That craft is adorable! Edited October 30, 2020 by Elizabeth86 1 Quote

Ausmumof3 Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 (edited) My oldest spent about three years watching them every spare moment he was allowed when he was younger. They actually learned quite a bit from the show thankfully. Very cute Edited October 31, 2020 by Ausmumof3 1 Quote

We are usually relatively screen-free (except for Russian cartoons, nowadays), but they watched pretty much all of these at their grandparents' during one of our two week stints of summer vacation. We tried using the dubbed versions as Russian cartoons, but it turned out that DD8 was just ignoring the words, as she knew the plot 😞 . Quote
JustEm Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 creature report! We're big fans of Octonauts here. looks good! 1 Quote
Not_a_Number Posted November 1, 2020 Author Posted November 1, 2020 Face is sewed on, leaves are on!! Now he just needs his fins and feet... I’ve been calling him my Tunip-cone, although DD8 is not amused by that. He’s off to sleep with her tonight 😄 . 1 Quote

Not_a_Number Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 (edited) And he's soon going to get a sister (because DD4's stuffed animals are all girls, lol.) It's Codish!! Right now, she looks like a strawberry ice cream cone, but soon, she'll be a Vegimal 😄 . Edited March 29, 2021 by Not_a_Number 5 Quote
