Hi all.

My legs and feet swelled up last week- definitely by Friday late afternoon when I really noticed it.  Went to a doctor covering my own doctor yesterday who just looked at my legs and nothing else, and decided I had cellulitis and prescribed Lasix and Cephlex (an antibiotic).  Saw my own doctor just a while ago and he didn't think it is celllulitis and checked my legs thoroughly, my temperature, my pulse ox, and then listened to my lungs and heart.  I have a new heart murmur.  I am going to go to the Heart Center and get a echocardiogram tomorrow morning.  Now I have RA, lupus, etc and all my AI diseases apparently make it more likely I get heart issues.  But I would like to hear from others about any experiences and knowledge and obviously prayers and good thoughts are very welcome too.

Praying. My BFF has been dealing with this for a while and still has a good quality of life—no need for an artificial valve yet. Medication has been enough.

I know adding one more thing to the list is a huge mental and emotional burden. Sincere hugs and best wishes from one RA lady to another!

And from another.  Praying for you!

After a big snafu,  I will be getting the test tomorrow at 9am after my regular Coumadin appointment at 8.  It is in the same building, just different floors.  A scheduler messed up which is why I didn't get it today.
