theelfqueen Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 So I got my new Shark robot vacuum and today is its second day of running... I was pleasantly surprised by how much stuff was in the cup when it finished running! The bump and turn function makes it feel really random but it runs long enough that it does a good job. We don't have pets or small kids so no opinions on that. It handles our various rugs (kitchen mat, doormats, one larger area rug) really well. My kid learned an immediate lesson about his messy under-desk space that he claimed was cleaned up, then it wasn't really and he didn't push in his chair so... robot vacuum in his cords. It has a really hard time with getting under my dining room table. Overall... I think I am team robot vacuum though I sort of wish I had thought to get one with the mapping feature so I could confine it to say the kitchen or living room. Quote

It is quite mesmerizing to watch it try to escape once it does get under the table in between the chairs. I could probably have picked all the chairs up and vacuumed the floor myself in the time I spend watching the robot some days. Quote
