I tried googling but didn't word things right or something because I'm not coming up with the answer to my question.

I just got an Amazon package.  I got an email with a picture of the package asking me how my delivery was.  There was a thumbs up "It was great" and a thumbs down "not so great".  If I click on the "it was great" then it sends me to a page where I have to log into Amazon.  If I don't bother to log into Amazon does it still record my "it was great" feedback?

Just something I've wondered the last couple of times I got a package.

Yes I believe it still records your upvote. If you log into Amazon when it sends you there, it just lets you choose to send an additional compliment, like "went above and beyond" or "was polite and helpful" and things like that. But I think even without sending the compliment the vote gets recorded. I'm pretty much permanently logged into Amazon anyway, so I usually try to leave a compliment if the driver placed the package carefully by my front door (as opposed to squashing it into the mail box or tossing it towards the door or whatever). I assume the drivers get the compliments, but I don't know for sure. And I LOVE that they send a photo of exactly where the package is, that is so helpful.

I've been getting those lately, also. Once was super helpful because the mail had already come for the day and then the Amazon pkg was put in our mailbox after we'd already emptied it. So then we knew to go back and look.

As it happens, I just got a delivery, so I took a screen shot of where it takes you on the Amazon site if you're logged in when you click in the email that the delivery was good. I usually add "delivered with care" unless it seems like they just tossed it, or it's halfway off the front orch in the rain or something. But they are generally very good about putting boxes right at the front door, and if it's an envelope or plastic bag, they will tuck it behind a planter so it doesn't blow away. I am super appreciative that they are doing this job so I don't have to go out and shop in person!

Yes.  I have logged on and done the extra feedback.  But sometimes I'm in a rush and don't have time.
