Kassia Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 That area has been like a magnet for storms this year. Unbelievable. 😞 Quote
aggie96 Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Yes, Poor Louisiana. This hurricane season has been a beating! Quote
TheReader Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Yep. Watching and praying; really hope it goes to some different area than what was hit so hard by Laura. Quote
popmom Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 My state is still cleaning up from Sally! We had significant beach erosion from that. Expecting more storm surge with Delta. 😞 2 Quote
Carrie12345 Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Dh and associated crews were required to evacuated last night from the area where they’ve been working on Laura damage. They’re still in clean up phase, never mind build back. This is the last thing the area needs while still under tarps! 5 Quote
Bootsie Posted October 9, 2020 Author Posted October 9, 2020 Looks like landfall with be within 10 miles of Laura--with Lake Charles in the west eyewall (was in the east eyewall for Laura). 9 Quote
Terabith Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 My friend in Beaumont, Texas, says it was so much worse there than she expected there. 6 Quote
