73349 Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 pillow! Please recommend an allergy-friendly one to replace my old down one. I'm a side sleeper. Thanks. Quote

Carol in Cal. Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 I got my last ones from the Marriot Hotel bedding folks. I stayed at the Marriot in Houston and liked their pillows so much that my husband tracked them down to give me for my birthday. 3 Quote
PeterPan Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 (edited) After years of screwing around with so many types, I now walk into Walmart and buy their $7-12 pillow and call it good. I think they're Serta something. The main thing for me is just to replace it as it goes flat. Maybe pay less and replace more often? PS. I really like the pillows Carnival cruise line uses. You can buy them on their website. Edited October 7, 2020 by PeterPan 2 Quote
bethben Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 I have a “my pillow”. It fluffs up really well and I can wash it without it getting wonky. 3 Quote

PrincessMommy Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 I'm a side-sleeper too but I have neck issues. I like those memory foam contour pillows... like this: https://www.target.com/p/standard-essentials-alwayscool-memory-foam-contour-pillow-linenspa/-/A-81133327#lnk=sametab I cannot sleep well with any kind of traditional pillow. I've also just begun using silk pillow cases because I keep hearing how it it better at helping prevent hair breakage. I have a lot of breakage on that side of my head. I'll know in a few months if it really works though. Quote

popmom Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Soft density latex foam!!! They never go flat. Hypoallergenic. I love a good down pillow, but nothing compares to latex. BBB used to have them. And I've also seen them at Macy's. Or sleeponlatex.com 1 Quote
73349 Posted October 8, 2020 Author Posted October 8, 2020 I haven't liked foam ones I've tried in the past. I think I will go for buckwheat. Thanks, all. Quote
