Good morning! We are all up early here- ds3 is doing school- finally starting to figure out how to best use his time. It is always amazing to me that around 16-17, boys start to get things together.

We couldn't get the cabinet last night- have to wait until Saturday- but that is okay, because dh is going camping with the giant car and we have it until Sunday. Also ds3 has a tournament this weekend- specatators are limited to one per competitor- so I am doing it.

  • coffee/paper- still drinking coffee
  • project of moving cookbooks/cleaning off a bookcase
  • get a pile of things to file- figure out the file cabinet another day?
  • figure out a path to patio- we have an assortment of rescued flagstones from under the old deck- but might not be enough
  • ds3- school, gym, club tennis, hit with doubles partner?
  • dh- work from home, dentist, leave for camping
  • all the general cleaning- kitchen, wipe down bathrooms, laundry
  • electronic chores
  • sewing room?
  • figure out dinner- just ds3 and me
  • I should get to the grocery store this morning

Have a great day!

clear out a couple of random paper stash places

move printer to basement

throw some things out

get ds3 to move a heavy box to the garage

Hello! Whew, Mondays and Wednesdays are busy days -- I teach at the co-op, so now that DS is there in person for his Weds classes, I'm there all day both days.

So, so far I have had coffee, taught 2nd grade, did a bunch of prep for the coming weeks, came home, showered/changed, updated the homework page for 2nd grade, emailed the parents, emailed 2 first grade parents who missed class on Monday w/the assignments, and had a snack.

Also, thanks to a dinner fail/meal prep win last night, dinner is mostly taken care of for today. The fail/win was, I forgot to thaw out the chicken early enough, so in trying to thaw it in the microwave, it didn't, and so in trying to cook it, it took way.too.long. Soooo, pivoted to Plan B, cooked something else to go with the roasting carrots and cooking rice, left the chicken to keep cooking (it was finally ready shortly after we finished eating....), and so dinner was saved, and now I have 4 leg quarters cooked and ready to go for today. yay!

As DS starts in person youth group tonight, that's a big meal prep win. So, see, all in how you spin things. Ha!

Anyway, to do:
...laundry (sheets, b/c I didn't do them yesterday)
...sew stuff b/c my sister is gone for the day, ds will be at youth group, and the guys will video game
...veg out/hang out

Happy Weds!

Dinner was good (we made tacos from the chicken meat), got an Rx ordered, and it's ready, so taking DS to youth group, picking that up, coming home, going back to pick up DS, and then we'll all get Smoothies on the way home (we'll pick up the other two boys when we stop by the house) and then come home and watch TV.

No sewing, but maybe tonight/tomorrow.

Home from church. Only about half our regular group due to Fall Break, but nice to see people, be outside, and have a good salad for dinner that I didn't have to make or clean up.

Kids are watching a movie. Dh took the dog for a walk.

I'm going to listen to a podcast and go to bed. Exhausted.
