I just got an e-receipt for a store that I did not shop at.  In fact, I was sitting at home 30 minutes away during the supposed transaction.  And it used a debit card.  I don't use or have a debit card.  I looked at my online banking.  No transaction has gone through taking money out of my account.  I called the store manager.  She's going to look into it.  But she thinks that the cashier or customer accidentally put in my email by mistake?  Is this possible?  Could I have been hacked even though my credit history shows no activity and neither does my bank account?

Hmmm. Perhaps someone used your email address for their own credit card application. Maybe start by changing the password on your email account.
