My dad bought her to raise into freezer beef but stepmom says “NOOO!” Because she’s so pretty and sweet. I suggested that we (my dh and I) swap one of our beef calves or our Red Bull (which my dad will need come January) for the pretty girl. I’m fairly confident this will work out but it’ll take time. We would likely swap at thanksgiving. and then I get to train her for milking. She’s 1/8 longhorn, 7/8 angus. So her calves will fit into our herd well, and hopefully she won’t have the health problems that my jerseys have had.
