EmilyGF
Hi all, DD12 growls at math but loves logic puzzles like in Beast Academy. Do you have a favorite collection of logic puzzles for pre-Algebra level students? Ideally it would include a variety of styles. Thanks, Emily
Not_a_Number
I have some math crosswords and magic squares and skip counting puzzles I can generate? Have you seen them? (I’m a new name of an old poster. PM me if you don’t know who.)
Not_a_Number
They might be too easy, though. No variables.
purpleowl
I'm currently reading Raymond Smullyan's What Is the Name of This Book? and planning to give it to my logic-loving 11yo when I'm done. 🙂 It has a chapter of knights & knaves problems (I can't remember what BA calls them - liars and truth-tellers? Where each person on the island either always lies or always tells the truth) and other things that are just fun to puzzle out.
SilverMoon
Have you seen Alcumus from AoPS? We like to use older Math Olympiad, Math Counts, etc books/tests.
