I never made it back on the board yesterday. I hope you all are well!

I go back to the ENT this morning for my CT scan results. It's raining terribly here, so prayers for safe travel would be appreciated since it's in another county.

The usuals are done.

  • coffee
  • meals
  • ENT visit
  • school with ds
  • possibly tutor a student this afternoon
  • prep for all my co-op classes tomorrow. I've done very little of that this week!
  • pack up all I need for co-op

Good Morning,

High bloodsugar number again this morning. So frustrating!

  • Ds to school
  • Check in with Dd about schoolwork
  • Deskwork
  • Laundry
  • Walk!
  • Lunch with a friend
  • YNAB
  • Pick up Ds? Dh might do this. Yes, dh is getting him and taking him to flag football practice.
  • Dinner is random leftovers, plus green salad.  Need to eat up what is here!

Good morning!

Safe travels, Amy, and I hope the appointment goes well!

It is nice and cool here this morning, in the 40s. The allergy sufferers in our family are having a bad time of it, so I'll be glad when we get our first frost.

  • office work - bills, finances, file, odds & ends
  • vacuum upstairs
  • clean upstairs bathrooms
  • lots of laundry
  • call in prescription refill
  • Schwan's delivery
  • make a pot of beans
  • dinner: creamy southwestern soup

Good morning! I am up early- ds3 had to meet his team for warm-ups (at their home court) and then he heads for regionals. No parent and no spectators allowed for the 12 hour day.  Disappointing for me- hugely disappointing for parents of seniors (half our team). Apparently, players can go to the parking lot to pick up food- no team meals, no team snacks, even team provided water bottles are not allowed at the team tent. The parents have donated coolers and food to live in the coach's pickup bed in the parking lot- we'll see if that gets around the draconian rules and surprisingly enthusiastic enforcement of said rules. And there is no streaming either. So I hope he has a good day- I will be on call for food delivery.

Dh is still miserable- He is going to try to get a telemedicine appointment today.

  • coffee/paper- ongoing
  • some more laundry
  • sewing room stuff- still waiting on fabric
  • read/crochet
  • wait for tennis updates
  • probably some food pick-up
  • probably also a pharmacy pick-up
  • pick up ds3- probably around 6

Have a great day!

Morning, all!

Today I have:

...scan in/submit DS15's homework to his 2 virtual co-op classes
...prep for K, 1st, and 2nd (choose/
print/file printables/activities, grade papers/file, load folders)
...prep for 4 yr old (decide on activities for tomorrow, tweak the little syllabus I made)
...school with DS15 -- he has his virtual history class, and we need to do language arts/math
...should there be any time left, cut butterfly applique's for my current project
...lunch: DH's domain
...dinner: pork w/cranberry, brussels, bacon that never got made the other day   Change of plans: pork is too frozen together, so stroganoff
...after dinner: depends on DS19 and whether he gets working on school during the daytime or not; hopefully watch some more Alone

Too many mistakes in the sewing room. Time for a break.

ds3 won his first game- into the quarters.

dh is feeling better- going to try to watch the next match through binoculars. I am sure he will not be the only parent with such ideas.

Thankfully, the CT scan showed nothing abnormal! It would be nice to have concrete answers, but at least there's no tumor. I have had one on my septum, and my sister had the same kind in her neck, so I know he was trying to rule that out. He said it could be muscular and physical therapy might help. The pain is usually just during the night, so I'm going to try some warm compresses before bed to relax the muscles and try different sleeping positions as well. We don't have the best mattress, either.

The student isn't coming until next week before the quiz and test.

I've done some prep for my classes. I'm searching the house for items to put in "main idea bags" for my language arts class.

  • Procrastinating.
  • Stressing.
  • Repeat the above.
  • Supposed to be doing lots of client work.
  • After school-at-home:
    • Kid2 has horse riding.
    • Kid1 has a soccer game.
    • Both kids have marching band practice.
  • Walk.
  • Try to catch up on acting on emails ... I haven't even read some of the school-related ones.  Ugh.

grocery store done

have prepped dinner and have some stuff cooking already - I will just have to heat it up again later.  Or maybe I will cook it almost all the way and then cook it the rest of the way after we get back from the vet.  Anyway, it will get done.

I asked Juliet "where are the bunnies?" and she half crawled in their cage.  Yup, that's where the bunnies are!  Lazy buns.  If they don't come out on their own I will have to drag them out later to indignant thumps.

Finished school with DS15, and DS19 is almost done; DS22 is working diligently.

Finished prepping for the 4 yr old tomorrow. I splurged on some stuff for her which I think will be super fun.

Dinner meat is thawing out.

I think DH and I are going to watch a show and then I'll work on butterflies after (or if he's going to take a while doing what he's doing, I'll go do that now before dinner...)

Kids on their way to being done with school for the day means yes, we can watch Alone tonight. Yay! (fascinating show, albeit a little depressing the closer you get to the end of the season and the contestants are all miserable).

Reminded Dd to do some AHG things before their meeting. Made dinner for her.
Found a movie clip I need for tutoring.
Emailed two moms of my students
Folded and put away a load of laundry
Ate dinner: homemade tomato soup and a boiled egg. I had a large, yummy salald at lunch and am not super hungry.

ds3 lost in finals to the defending state champion. But he did make State- so yay for that. That is next week.

My fabric came- so tomorrow's projects are set. I am making excellent progress and feel quite accomplished.

ds3 and dh are still gone- not sure when they will be home. Also not sure what we are doing for dinner.

My bet is pizza for the boy.

Say congrats to your ds3,  MysteryJen, from me.

We didn't get to watch TdF today because it wouldn't load on TV.   We walked around a great sculpture park here.  Then we ate Runzas w a cappuccino shake.  Then a rest and then the Darly Zoo here in Omaha.  Just finished dinner ordered and delivered.

To do

Laundry

Medications

Watch Young Wallender on Netflix
