TravelingChris Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 So Homestead National Monument was so much more interesting than I expected. Lots of grasses with identifying markers along with other plants too. We also saw migrating Monarchs. Last night, we saw our first Long Eared Owl (on country roads). Back at the Monument, you're was an interesting museum too. Then we drove to Lincoln and had Chik Fil A lunch, then drive by and stopped at the state capitol building. Then off to our hotel in Omaha for two nights. After a brief rest, we walked on the Bob Kerry Bridge over the Missouri. Dh walked to Iowa and I walked out a bit and back to the car. My AS and neuropathy are super painful do I am trying to do as little walking as U can with only 1 Norco pill left till I get home ( this is my second vacation in a row where I took the old bottle with a few pills versus the new one with my regular doses). Then we ordered a tasty dinner to be delivered. I had a half Cobb salad and a half grilled cheese. Now Notre Dame fire show snd Netflix 2 Quote
