Selkie Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Good morning! The sun is shining, which is amazingly wonderful after a week of rain. There was a huge flock of thousands of blackbirds in the tall trees near our barns early this morning. They were talking up a storm and making quite a ruckus. finish morning chores check live trap 2x plan my week hoof care for horses vacuum upstairs & clean my bathroom order cleaning supplies for the second time (I ordered some a couple weeks ago and they were damaged in transit, so I didn't receive them. That has happened with several different things over the past month or two.🤷♀️) lunch prep for the week - cut up veggies & prep salad ingredients dinner: Italian peas and pasta soup 4 Quote

ScoutTN Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 (edited) Christina, your trip sounds wonderful! I think you are a great vacation planner. Raining, raining, raining here, but not cold. We've been to church and I've made tomato soup, started another loaf of sourdough bread and moved some laundry. Dinner will be rosemary garlic chx thighs, cheesy cauliflower, sliced tomoatoes and whatever green veg we have. This afternoon: Order a rain coat for Dd ✅ Help her keep on track with school work. We don't usually study on Sundays, but she is still catcing up from her insomnia troubles a few weeks ago. ✅ Remind Ds to do Scout things Read Nap? Watch a movie? Prep for Monday, which is a crazy busy day. Edited September 13, 2020 by ScoutTN 3 Quote

Selkie Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Drove out to check trap - it was empty. Did horse chores - it was lovely to not get soaked, and the stalls weren't filthy, either. Fly sprayed everyone because the bugs are out in full force again, and cleaned and treated everyone's hooves. Finally unpacked Chewy boxes.🏆 Placed my Schwan's order. Got my week somewhat planned out, and made a list of meals. Am cooking a pot of cannellini beans now, and am going to assemble the ingredients for soup next. 2 Quote
