Ovulation symptoms on birth control?

Have you ever had ovulation symptoms on birth control?

Since yesterday afternoon I've been having signs of ovulation.  I'm on the pill, so this isn't likely, right?

It doesn't help that last night I dreamed I had another baby.  She was about 6 months old, and looked just like one of DH's sisters.  Blonder than blond, sharp nose, big eyes.

I've been on the pill for several years now, and basically don't get my period at all any more. But I still sometimes notice ovulation signs. I couldn't tell you how often, because I don't pay a lot of attention, but it's not uncommon for me.
